I Went to Italy!

In May, I booped around Switzerland and Northern Italy for the plot. I was really there because I got into a writing program, which you can read about here if you’re so inclined, but I also took my trusty little Nikon N75 and 12 rolls of film.

I am usually a Kodak Ektar 100 girlie. That is my favorite film stock, I will love it until I die. However, when I went on down to my local film shop, they were completely out of stock. This was also the day before my flight, so there was no time to order any, so I grabbed what they had, which was a mix of Kodak Gold 200 and Kodak Colorplus 200. I don’t think I’ve used Kodak Gold since I was in high school and could still buy film at the grocery store, so I was a little skeptical, but that was a misplaced emotion. I love the way these turned out. I did not keep track of what was what. I started a film log on the first day, but quickly gave it up. I was on vacation, and I wasn’t trying to do any homework. So your guess is as good as mine as to which photos are which stock.

*I was screaming for a 35mm and a Zoom. “Take primes, you’re not in a rush, you have time, don’t be lazy.” WRONG. Primes were so annoying, but they do look very nice.
